Cameron began his career at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire where he gained valuable experience in neurosciences, neuro-surgery and in-patient and out-patient neuro-rehabilitation. In 2005 he took up a senior post at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust where he continues to work in all areas of neuro-rehabilitation. He additionally works in specialist out-patient clinics.

He has a very keen interest in the science of neuro-rehabilitation, particularly in Neuro-plasticity and spasticity. He gained a Distinction in a Post Graduate Diploma of Neurological Rehabilitation from the University of Western Australia in 2006 and has since begun developing research links with local Universities.  He will begin a PhD in 2010.
